Fighter fights

The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a mean and nasty place, and I don't care how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard you hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That is how winning is done!

Now if you know what you are worth, then go out and get what you are worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you wanna be, because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain't you. You're better than that !

That is one of my favourite film quotes. I figured it out long ago: life ain't easy. Life is tough. Life is going to take my strength, my health, my wealth, my happiness, my everything, if I let it. That's how life works. One can sit tight and wait till life gets to you, or one can fight back and seize what you're worth. I am not the sitting-kind-of person. I fight. I lose sometimes. But it's not about winning and losing. It's the experience that matters. I am glad that I am not fighting alone.
