Revolution

It is so unexpected. Yet it is expected. Mubarak eventually gave in. Yesterday is the day which marked the victory of ordinary citizen.

The uprising was peaceful. Inspired by the Jasmine Revolution in Tunisia, oppppppppppppppppppll. (<-- That is typed by my stupid kitty GiGi) protesters flooded Cairo with anger and passion, yet, without doing any stupid moves. Western countries admired their courage. Dictators feared the epidemic. After all, revolution is contagious.

Spread by social websites like Facebook and Twitter, our glorious grandpa is so visionary. Freedom of speech is a legend. We have no rights to surf the net as freely as we wanted to. The country is as safe and peaceful as it could be ... or is it ? We were so manipulated, to an extend that, even if we were suppressed, we were mistreated, we were abused, we don't dare to speak up. I am impressed by a scene in “Let the Bullet Fly (讓子彈飛)":- The underprivileged were given gold, they grabbed the gold instantly; the underprivileged were offered weapons, then all of them shut their doors without responding to the offer. Pathetic. But true.

I don't want to become that gutless and insensible. God help our country. God help us.
